well.. I used 2 flashes placed on the sides of the glass but I directed them towards the background in order to light the glass indirectly from behind as the light reflects from the background.
A must is to place 2 black reflectors on both sides of the glass which will have two functions:
1. block the light from the flashes in order to avoid flash-reflections and
2. get those black lines to pronounce the glass

an other way is to buy an opaque white sheet and light it from the back, combined to black reflectors as well. The lightning looks a bit different but it is nearly as effective as the 1st solution if you want no reflections
